Whether you need an extra brain for a feature or the entire platform we work with your existing UI/UX team to provide our expertise and an extra pair of talented hands. We are well-versed in collaborating in Figma and keeping design systems up-to-date and usable.
A UX-Centric Environment
Maybe you have one designer, and she is a rockstar, but UX is hard when you are alone on an island! We can help provide a qualified sounding board for ideas and solutions and help your team with as much or as little execution as they need. In addition to our meetings with you, we meet formally weekly and informally several times a week to review, improve, brainstorm, and critique our work together.

Does your team need some help with file organization, layer best practices, and creating or cleaning up a design system? We can come in on a limited or ongoing engagement to get everything aligned.
Straight Up Wrench Time

Service Engagement
We can craft an engagement with you that works for both of us.
We can craft an engagement with you that works for both of us. We recommend a 10 hour jump start engagement to get started. A Jump Start allows us to get in and roll up our sleeves and get working with you. We will decide what to do with that time together. Maybe we work on user flows or personas, maybe we polish up a feature, or straighten out a design system manager. We’ll do a task we can be successful at together to get a feel for the engagement.
From there, we decide on 20, 30, or 40 hours per month of work and strategize on communication and progress checks. We normally use a Slack Connect so designers and developers can work together in real time. We also do a weekly sprint planning and checkin meeting.
What’s included in critiques, weekly meetings, Slack Connect, and internal project management?
- Weekly formal internal critiques with a decorated UX expert. Each person presents their work and challenges to elicit feedback from our group of creatives. The best solutions come from diverse perspectives.
- A UX-centric work environment where we’re focusing on solving these unique problems every day.
- Cross-project learnings, what’s new, what’s being tested, and what’s working well shared with our portfolio of clients.
- Weekly meetings with you to review work and pick up the next sprint. We record these in Zoom and process them to work on feedback after the meetings.
- Slack Connect is included in our Embedded UX Team service offering. We think the best way for people to collaborate is to be able to talk and ask questions in real time.
- We use Jira internally and Jira Service Manager externally to track and report on project progress.
