Anchor & Alpine is thrilled to participate in the Haynie Gives Holiday Tree Auction. Our Director, Amber, and her mother, Louise Smith, created our entry this year.

Trees are being auctioned online from Monday, November 3 to Friday, December 4, 2020. To bid on a tree, visit this site, pick out your tree, and place your bid. Our tree is #25, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Luckily, our tree along with several others sold out the first day.

Each tree supports the decorators’-choice charity and we are supporting Primary Children’s in honor of Amber’s grandmother Priscilla Lee.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Go ahead, play the song!

One of the best parts of the holiday season is bringing home your family Christmas Tree. Our tree, called The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, celebrates this magical moment with snowmen, red sleighs, and red trucks—all hauling smaller Christmas trees home. To create a whimsical and woodsy feel our tree is decorated in red and white buffalo plaid accents, from the vests on the snowmen to the wooden ornaments to the tree skirt.

Our Tree’s Story

Our family loves the movie Christmas Vacation and we watch it together almost every year. The movie starts with a family going to pick up their Christmas tree and strapping it to the top of their car. We’ve always found that all so funny and when we start to see trees strapped to cars we find it hilarious and charming and it is one of the ways we know that Christmas is coming. Look, kids, a deer!

To bring this tree, or any of the other amazing creations home, bid on the tree and then work with Haynie & Company on delivery (Please note, you must be within 50 miles of their Salt Lake City location).

Thank you, the holiday auction has ended.

Our tree has already sold!

I promise we’re smiling under these masks. Also, does the tree have ~jazz hands~?
