Branding geared towards patients; inspired by the mountains.
Our client, Shoreline, found their inspiration for a ground-breaking patient education software when they were hiking Salt Lake City’s local Shoreline trail, overlooking the local cancer specialty hospital. The imagery of turning a bend on a steep trail, to find a peaceful landscape was perfect for their product which seeks to make patient’s medical journeys more seamless and supportive. Utilizing a photo taken on that fateful hike, we created a brand identity inspired by the calming color palette of the mountainous trail.
When designing their website, our aim was to infuse it with the same reassuring features we put into the brand. However, we wanted to strike a balance between soothing imagery and color choice while maintaining Shoreline’s expertise on healthcare education. Our goal was to make the content of the website approachable to patients and providers alike.
