Amanda Nelson

Amanda brings a diverse background to help round out projects at Anchor and Alpine. She has experience in photojournalism and photography, operations, manufacturing, sales and marketing, distribution, and packaging design. She spent the first half of her career working in fine paper and packaging, focusing on making her clients more profitable through product consolidations, process automation and efficiencies. In 2010, she pivoted to pursue her passions in a more creative way with portrait photography while also diving headfirst into the world of nonprofit fundraising as a volunteer. She is thrilled to join the Anchor & Alpine crew.

A Utah native, Amanda enjoys the hustle and bustle of the city but also appreciates the serene comfort of her small town roots. She earned her Business Management degree from the University of Utah. She spends a massive amount of her time volunteering at her children’s school whether it’s helping with student events, fundraising, or as a parent ambassador welcoming new parents. One of her greatest joys is nurturing and watching as her children thrive and make their way in the world. She loves spending time at the barn with her daughter’s horse, scuba diving with her husband, golfing with her son, and traveling as a family.
